Margaret R. Espinoza, a loving mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 89 years old at the time of her passing.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Margaret's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the deep bond she shared with her children. A devoted mother, she raised five children, and her love for them knew no bounds. Her surviving children, Tony R. Espinoza, Jr., Valerie Alvarez, Pamela Delgado, and Teresa Burchell, were the light of her life. Margaret's heart carried the pain of losing her precious daughter, Erica Margaret Espinoza, who tragically passed away on July 18, 1992. Though Erica's life was taken too soon, her memory lived on in the hearts of all who knew her, and Margaret never stopped honoring her memory.

Margaret was a woman of strength, kindness, and unwavering faith. Her spirit was a source of comfort to those who knew her, and her legacy will continue to shine through the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Throughout her life, Margaret showed love and support to those in need, always putting others before herself.

She leaves behind a legacy, a chapter leader of Parents of Murdered Children of San Antonio and of love that will never be forgotten. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, all who were blessed to know her will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.

A funeral service will be held on April 11, 2025, at Saint Gabriel's Church, followed by a burial at San Fernando II.

Margaret's love, strength, and wisdom will be missed, but her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
