Margaret "Margie" R. Aceves, wife of Roberto W. Aceves, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, August 30, 2023, at her residence in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 16, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of the late Andrea and Ernesto Moran.
Margie lived a life dedicated to her family and faith. As a daughter and sister, she was respectful and attentive, thinking always of the ones who had been there since the beginning. As a wife, she was supportive and dedicated, her love for Roberto was a thing of beauty disguised in everyday life. As a mother, she was super mom always present and actively involved. As a grandmother, she was tender and playful, always going the extra mile to bring a smile to their faces.
She is remembered for her ability to spread true individual love, she found time to make everyone feel special and she was generous with that gift. Her life was an example of goodness and making people laugh truly made her happy. Margie loved singing or dancing and was a joy to all who knew her because of her personality. So many moments in time watching her live life to the fullest are now memories family and friends will cherish forever. Her loss is incomprehensible, but she leaves her strength to persevere and her faith of believing one day everyone will be reunited once again.
In addition to her parents, Andrea Minerva Moran and Ernesto Moran, she is also preceded in death by three siblings Joe Rosseett, Sara V. Rosseett, and Richard Rosseett.
Family members include her husband of 51 years, Roberto W. Aceves; children, Nora R. Aceves, Roberto Aceves (Rosedelee), Anna Marie Ricondo (Chris), Yvonne Aceves Rivera (Jamie), Richard Aceves (Cindy) and her beloved dog Lady-Girl.
Additionally; her grandchildren, Orlando R. Saenz Jr, Serenah Marie Saenz (Neftali), Jacob Daniel Ricondo, Carlos manuel Aceves, Miracle Andrea Sosa, Sebastian X. Saenz, Marcos Aceves, Sophia Aceves, Mia Catalina Aceves, Ava Valencia Aceves, James Garza (Laura), Iliana Garza, Abi Rivera, Jassi Rivera, Zamoni Rivera, Lazari Rivera, Myles Rivera, Makayla Rivera and Daniel Rivera; 2 great-grandchildren, Elijah Jay Alva and Eliana Hope Alva; siblings, Willie Rosseett (Gloria), Mary Ann R. Beck and Nettie R. Lucio (Jose), Abel V. Rosseett (Idalia); sister-in-laws, Mary Rosseett and Cecilia Rosseett; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm for visitation and at 6:00 pm for a Chapel Service at Castillo Funeral Home.
Guests will arrive at Castillo Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, no later than 8:45am. A formal funeral procession will depart for Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery where a committal service will be conducted at 9:45 am.
