Margaret "Margie" Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 11, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas, to Fred Moya and Clara Escobedo. Margaret loved thrift store shopping, cooking, dancing to Conjunto, Tejano, Oldies, and Country music. She was the life of the party and often sang Karaoke while drinking her favorite Ice-Cold Miller Lite. She loved playing bingo. Most of all, she absolutely loved her family. Her warm smile and loving nature will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred Moya and Henry Moya and grandsons, Ray Anthony Ybarra and Baby Joe Vara. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her children; Rosemary Ozuna, Debra Trevino, Sylvia Rivera "Jose Rivera," sons; Rudy Puentes, Dagoberto Nevarez Jr, Fidel Nevarez and Dagoberto Nevarez III. Margaret was blessed with a large family and leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends who brought her immense joy and happiness. Funeral Services for Margaret will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Castillo Funeral Home. A Rosary to be recited at 6pm in Chapel " A", all services conclude that evening.
