Our beautiful mother entered eternity and into the arms of Jesus on December 10, 2019. She was born in Marfa, TX on September 28, 1944, to Sophie Gonzalez and Sebastian Martinez. She lived most of her life in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and moved to San Antonio, TX in 2003.
She loved the Lord with all her heart and never lost her faith in God. She trusted that He'd heal her here or I'm going home to Heaven to be healed there. Next to the Lord, she loved her children.
She is survived by all her children. Daughter's; Bertina Valdez, Patricia Valdez, Denise Martinez of San Antonio, TX. Sabrina Valdez, of Houston, TX and Victoria De Los Santos of Lincoln, Nebraska. Son's; Joe Valdez Jr, Sebastian Martinez of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and August Valdez of Aurora, Colorado. Also, 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother.
Our mother will forever be missed, forever be in our hearts, and we will love her for the rest of our lives.

All services will take place at International Bible Church, 2369 Benrus Blvd. San Antonio, 78228. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 10am until 12pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 12pm. Interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery III.
