Margarita Jauregui Avila was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the blessed age of 85. She was born August 15, 1938 in St. Johns, MI. She loved to play board games, puzzles, cards, dance and travel to visit her family. She retired from American Motors/Chrysler in 1994 and moved to San Antonio, Tx. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Mauricio Jauregui and Aurora Vargas. Margarita had 10 brothers and sisters and 11 half brothers and sisters. She was a loving mother to 10 children, Maria Mora (Robert), Janie Sanchez (Arturo, deceased), Sylvia Schanke (Craig), Pablo Avila Sr. (Rosalinda), Connie Galarza (Ruben), Samuel Avila (Jennifer), Lydia Garcia (Albert, deceased), Diana Pedroza (Pepe), Ricky Peña, and Steven Peña (Stacy). She was blessed with 36 grandchildren (Donna, Dorothy and Crystal preceded her in death), 77 great grandchildren (Isabell and Keshon preceded her in death), 22 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Margarita was loved and will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Heaven has gained our most beloved blessing. She will live forever in our hearts and memories. Visitation for Margarita Jauregui Avila will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. with the Service at 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
