Margarita Galvan passed away on July 24, 2022 at the blessed age of 86. She was born on February 21, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to Guadalupe and Santos Galvan.

Margarita is reunited in Heaven with her parents Guadalupe and Santos Galvan, sons Richard Galvan and Rudy Val Galvan; Daughters Diana Soriano and Ninfa Moran; grandsons Richard Rendon, Ronnie Rendon, and Marcus Daniel Moran. Margarita was dearly loved and will be truly missed by her Daughter Sylvia Moran Rendon, Son John Jerry Moran (Isabel); 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren.

Margarita was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was always there for family and friends. She loved Fiesta, dancing and being silly with family. She will be truly missed but will always live in our hearts.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Castillo Funeral Home from 3:30pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will meet at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, August 1, 2022 to say our final goodbyes.  A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am  for a 10:00am Mass at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1515 Saltillo St., 78207 for a Mass at 10:00am. Interment will follow at  San Fernando Cemetery II.
