Obituary

Margarita R. Harlow, 73, Wife to Richard Harlow Jr P/D, went to be with the Lord Saturday night, May 20, 2023, at her residence in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on August 12, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of the late Ignacio and Maria Sena P/D.

Family meant so much to Margarita and those who knew her recognized quickly the joy and satisfaction she found in raising and spending time with her children and grandchildren. As a woman of deep faith, she live a life of the Lord and attended Christ the King Catholic Church where she served as a member of the Christ the King Social Club. Margarita loved going fishing with her husband and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and Kickapoo where she would visit the casinos. A wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed tremendously and remembered forever.

In addition to her parents, Ignacio T. Sena P/D and Maria Nino Sena P/D, she is also preceded in death by her son, John Christopher Harlow; sister, Patricia Sena; and brothers, Ignacio N. Sena and Richard Sena.

Family members include her husband of 42 years, Richard Harlow Jr. P/D; children, Richard Harlow III, Patricia Harlow-Cordova, Lorraine Harlow and John Harlow P/D; five grandchildren, Daniel, Apryl, John, Sheridan, and Karragan; five great grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth Medrano, Yolanda Zapata, Cristina De La Rosa (Arnolfo), and Roy Sena (Irma); in addition to numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm for visitation with a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm.

A funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, June 5, 2023, in Christ the King Catholic Church at 9:00 am with a committal service to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:30 am.
