Our loving, beautiful, strong Mother Margarita T. Lopez, went to be with Our Lord on Wednesday, June 08, 2022 after several years with Dementia/Alzhiemers. She lived and passed peacefully in San Antonio, TX but was born and raised in Converse, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Zapopa Tovar; her loving husband of 43yrs., Pedro Lopez; her son, Arturo T. Lopez; her granddaughter, Jennifer Lopez; her sisters, Felipa Suarez, Luisa Esquivel, Victoria Contreras, Isabel Rios, Anita Hernandez, and her brothers, Juan and Vicente Tovar. She is survived by her sons, Antonio(Maria); Pedro(Lillian); Vicente(Rachel); Cresencio(Juana); Juan Manuel(Terry) Lopez and her daughters, Margarita/Margie(Rudy) Flores; Noemi L. Narro & Diane Marie/Dinah (Johnny,deceased) Tijerina.

She was a loving wife, Mother(9 children), Grandmother(31 grandchildren), Great Grandmother(89 great grandchildren),Great Great Grandmother(12 great great grandchildren) and Aunt. She was a housewife, caregiver, and a defender of her family.  She was a great role model to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.

Her unconditional love and Blessings is what will help us as a family to go on through this difficult time. The memories that we each have of her, of nearly almost 102 years is what will endure in our hearts. Her faith in God is what will guide us thru our life, "Que Dios te Bendiga y que te proteje" were her words each and every time we would leave her presence. Well, Mommy/Ama "Que Dios te Bendiga y que te reciba con brazos abiertos".

Services to be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022, immediate family will receive other family and friends at 4pm. Rosary will be at 6pm. On Thursday, June 23, 2022, will be departing the funeral home at 9:15am to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church for a Funeral Mass at 10am. Interment will take place at San Fernando #2.
