Margarita "Margie" Soto was born on September 23, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas. She was the second born daughter of Rafael D. Soto Jr. and the late Maria "Angie" Soto.

Margie accepted God into her life at an early age and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. As an adult, she joined King Solomon Baptist Church.

Margie attended Sam Houston High School and was a proud Cherokee in the class of 1986. She joined the workforce at a young age and spent over a decade working as a proud partner at H-E-B pharmacy.

With her feisty charisma and infectious smile, she was a well-known member of her community, and spent many of her days cooking for others as a part of her giving nature. Serving as a second mother to many with her nurturing and loving spirit,Margie's genuine soul left an everlasting impression in this world.

After 16 years of maintaining her true warrior personality, Margie was called home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2024 at the age of 57. Her loving and supportive family was at her bedside when she was called to Heaven. She is preceded by her mother: Maria (Angie) Soto, grandparents: Consuelo D. Soto, Rafael Soto, Beatrice Reyes, & Jose Guajardo, & niece: Yvette Ornelaz

Margie's memories will continue to be remembered by her three children: Anthony (Elizabeth), Aeriel (Quinton), & Kennedy; father: Rafael D. Soto Jr.; sisters: Lalie (Fernando) & Sonia; grandchildren: Adissin, Anthony Jr., Quinton Jr., & Zoriah; best friend: Eva (35+ years), family friends: Angel & Mary Martinez, niece: Ashley (Oscar), nephews: Fernando (Mari), & Odis (Liana), goddaughter: Chanel (Maurice), and many friends.

Margie will always be loved & adored, never forgotten, & forever missed!
