Vasquez-Deluna

In Loving Memory of Margarita Vasquez-DeLuna
March 17th 1962 – November 30th 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Margie, who left us peacefully on November 30th, 2025, at the young age of 63. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, she touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering devotion.
Margie was born on March 17th, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas, to Arturo and Modesta Vasquez. She was raised in a home filled with love and laughter, and from a young age, she displayed the caring nature and strength that would define her throughout her life. Her love for her family was boundless, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to raising her children with kindness, patience, and a sense of purpose.
As a mother, Margie had an extraordinary ability to make each of us feel valued and loved, no matter the circumstances. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she was a dear friend and confidante to many. She found joy in visiting casinos, beaches, camping, dancing, and always made time for the people she loved.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Danny; her children, Denise and Daniel Jr.; her six granddaughters; her siblings Lino, Manuel, Rosalinda, Leticia, Yolanda, Gloria, and Maricela; and countless nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her father, Arturo Vasquez.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on 9 December from 4-8 pm at Castillo Funeral Home. All who knew and loved Margie are welcome to join us as we remember her beautiful soul.
Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that Margie will forever be with us in spirit. Her love will continue to guide us and live on in the stories we share and the lessons she taught us. We will cherish the countless moments shared with her and the priceless memories.
Rest in peace, dear Mother. You will always be loved and always remembered.
