Maria Bonilla Espinoza, 86, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025.  She was born on May 4, 1939, in Losoya, Texas.  Her hobbies include shopping at Goodwill and Foleys and had a huge heart for animals. Her contributions include St Jude Catholic Church and Grotto Church.  Maria cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by 6 children, Linda Barron, Mary Helen Caudillo, David Contreras, Lucy Ortiz, Johnny Garcia, and Andrea Monica Garcia and she was preceded in death by her son, Dimas Garcia; and 38 great grandchildren & 8 great, great grandchildren.  A prayer service will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 5:00 pm in our chapel. A rosary service will be officiated by Peggy Castro.  Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church with the procession immediately following to San Fernando Cemetery Section II.
