Maria C. Martinez entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the age of 97 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Weimar, Texas to the late Jose and Alejandra Corpus. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved Husband Benito S. Martinez, son Joe Martinez, all her siblings, and her parents. Maria leaves her legacy in hearts and actions of her son Benito C. Martinez (Laura); 2 grandchildren (Benito, Jonathan); 4 great-grandchildren (Gabrielle, Xavier, Adrian, Alana); 1 great great-grandchild (James), and numerous nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 3:30 pm until 7:30pm with The Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart Castillo Mission Funeral Home at 9:30am on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 for a 10:00am Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Everyone who attends services must wear a face mask.
