As a young girl,  she competed in a Mexican talent competition, with all the applauds from the audience, you could tell she was La Reyna de Mexico..  Her love for music and singing spread down to her children. She worked at St. Francis Nursing Home for over 12 years,  cooking for the elderly and staff.   She was a great cook, selling tacos, caldos and her famous hot sauce.  She enjoyed cooking with her family until the last days of her life.
Carmelita was always working at home as well crocheting, making clothes and purses. She was very active with several different talents. She was  a woman of faith. Her love for her family was surely known to  each one of them, always giving us blessings. Our loving beautiful mother, grandmother has gone home to be in heavenly peace. Until we meet again.  You will always be the Queen of our Hearts for all eternity. We love you so much thank you for all the love you showed us.
