Maria B. Castillo passed away in her sleep on March 28, 2020, with her son by her side. She was 90 years old. She was born on August 14, 1929 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila Mexico. She was a devoted & loving wife to Juventino S. Castillo. They were wed on January 19, 1949 & married for 56 years. They moved from Eagle Pass, Texas to San Antonio soon after to start a family. She was a homemaker and mother of 4. She enjoyed cooking many dishes and took great pride in her home. She was blessed with a long life in which she created many treasured memories with her family. She enjoyed telling stories about her children and grandchildren. She liked playing Chinese checkers and spending time with her great grandchildren. She especially enjoyed being surrounded by her family at the dinner table, eating food & telling stories. She read her bible daily and prayed for her loved ones. She will missed tremendously by her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her husband Juventino S. Castillo, her father Manuel Dominguez, mother Maria Teresa Bueno Gonzalez, sisters Maria de la Luz Dominguez & Maria Tereza Dominguez Bueno and brother Hilario Manuel Bueno Gonzalez.

She will be remembered by her sister Margarita "Maggie" Bueno Gonzalez; her sons Ruben Castillo (Elia), Rodolfo B. Castillo, Robert Castillo (Francis); daughter Rosario C. Alvarado; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
