Maria Magdalena Celestino passed at home on January 26, 2023. She was born in San Antonio to Miguel & Ignacia Herrera & grew up on the west side with her siblings, Tomasita & Alfonso. She met Bernabe Celestino & they were married in 1960.
They were blessed with their first child, Rose Mary, followed by their son, Mark. Her children were her pride & joy in raising them to love music & excel in school. She loved to dance cumbias, watch novelas and enjoyed spending her time providing musical entertainment for the elderly with her sister at local nursing homes. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 60 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Tomasita Garcia; her brother Alfonso Garcia; her daughter Rose Mary, husband John Gallegos; son Mark, wife Maria Guadalupe Gamez Celestino; only granddaughter Krystle Rose Gallegos; only great-grandchild, Noah L. De Leon; and many loving cousins & friends.
