Maria Aurelia Espinoza went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2023, at the blessed age of 75. She is reunited with her late husband Gregorio Espinoza Sr. who died September 14, 2021, also preceded in death by her mother Ricarda Esquivel.

Maria Aurelia enjoyed keeping up with novellas. She really loved music and had fond memories of times spent singing with her late husband. Maria Aurelia loved hosting family gatherings and entertaining guests by cooking and games of loteria.  Her generosity knew no bounds as she would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. A wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be remembered forever.

Family members include her children, Gregorio Espinoza Jr (Bertha), Alicia Arreola (Ignacio), Cesar Espinoza (Yvonne), Israel Espinoza (Veronica), Sonia Espinoza (Sabino), Javier Espinoza (Margie), Teresa Lopez (Chris), Lupe Hernandez (Raymundo), and Vanessa Canizales (Josh); 24 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nephew, Ruben Sanchez; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Castillo Funeral Home for visitation with a rosary service beginning at 6:00 pm.

A funeral mass will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, January 27, 2023, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Burial will be at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
