Obituary

Maria Jimenez Garza passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 87.  She was born in Monterrey, Mexico Nuevo León. Daughter to Dario Pedraza and Juana Villalobos.  Maria was one of 12 children and is survived by her sister Esperanza Pedraza.  She married Roberto Lizcano Jimenez (deceased) and had 10 children. Gloria Jimenez Fenske, Robert Adrian Jimenez, Javier Jimenez (Cindy), Albert Jimenez (deceased), Oscar Jesus Jimenez, Daniel David Jimenez (Veronica), Cristina Jimenez Patterson (David), Susana Jimenez King, (Michael), Victoria Jimenez Stone (Clay), Rosario Jimenez (deceased).  She was a long-time active member of Theo Avenue Baptist Church, where she accepted Christ and was baptized. She also was an adoring grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She remarried after 20 years of widowhood, to Santana Garza (deceased) and continued her busy active life at church and at home.  She loved the Lord with all her heart and spent her last days at home in the presence of her loving family. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be on February 10, 2023 at 3:30-6:00. Service 6:00-8:00 pm, at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N General McMullen Dr., San Antonio, Tx., 78228. Maria's celebration of Life will be held on February 11, 2023, at 10:00 am, at Theo Avenue Baptist Church, 127 W Theo Ave, San Antonio, Tx. 78214 with burial to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
