Maria Jimenez Gonzalez was born June 19, 1952. One of 6 children from parents Reyes & Paulina, She moved to San Antonio Texas to start a family with her husband Jose Gonzalez. Maria began to grow her family with 9 children of her own. She worked as a supervisor for the housekeeping at the Hilton corporation. She was known as a hardworking person, always being acknowledged by her employer. She won many awards and certificates as well as employee of the year in 2000. In 2007, Maria had medical issues that caused her to retire. Her time after retirement was spent being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved being in her garden and listening to music for hours. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her grandchildren brought her the biggest smile. Maria always believed in the power of prayer, she was attended church every Sunday with her children and grandchildren for many years. When she was not able to attended church anymore she always prayed the rosary every night.  Maria showed unconditional love, and accepted everyone for who they were. A rare and beautiful soul who taught everyone that we should never stop being kind to each other.

Maria Gonzalez entered the gates of heaven on November 26,2021 surrounded by the one thing she loved the most, her family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

Preceded in death by her parents Reyes & Paulina Jimenez and her grandson Peter James Gonzalez.

Survived by her husband of 54 years, Jose Gonzalez. Her 9 children Jose Jr, San Juanita, Carlos, Paul Anthony, Rafael, Gerardo, Maricela, Pedro and Mary Lou. 17 grandchildren Amanda, Stephanie, Victoria. Carlos, Charlie, Ezra, Lily, Audrey, Anna, Jessica, Cynthia, Michael,  Nathan, Paisley, Pilot, Penley, and Payton. 8 great grandchildren Dylan, Naomi, Jason, Gabriella, Isabella, Christopher, Edgar and Rosie. Her siblings Sergio, Tomás, Aristeo, Eliza, Maria and Juan as well as countless nieces, nephews and cousins who she adored.
