Maria G. Lopez
December 31, 1972 - April 3, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria G. Lopez on April 3, 2025, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family at the age of 52. She was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and raised in San Antonio, Texas.

Maria is preceded in death by her father Celedonio H. Cardenas.

Maria was a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart Baltazar Lopez, with whom she shared 25+ years of love and partnership. She was a proud and loving mother to her two daughters: Jasmine and Savannah Lopez and her only son: Dillon Lopez. She is survived by her mother Carolina Cardenas, her brothers Jose Cardenas, Rudolfo Cardenas, Robert Velasquez, Rosendo Velasquez and her sister Yolanda Garza. As well as many nieces and nephews who will always love and miss her very much.

Her greatest joy of life was being with her family and making memories. She was the most amazing Mother, Wife, Daughter, Madrina, and Friend. There was never a dull moment with her.She was full of constant love and laughter and created the most beautiful family. She adored her kids and cherished every moment spent with them. She was the light of our life, the brightest smile in the room, and the life of the party. She was always so positive and proud of her family no matter what.

Maria left the biggest impact on everyone she has met and will never be forgotten. This isn't a goodbye, but a see you later.
