Maria Guadalupe Perez, age 94, joined the Lord peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 18, 1930, in San Antonio, Texas, she was the eldest of twelve children—a role she embraced with great love and responsibility.
Maria lived a life full of love, faith, and service. As a dedicated educator in Northside Independent School District, she touched countless lives with her compassion, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to her students and their community. Her deep faith guided her throughout her life, and she was a proud and active member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where she served her community with grace and devotion.

She married the love of her life, Pete Perez who she is now reunited with. In their 45 year marriage together they raised four wonderful children: Yolanda, David, Peter, and John. Her greatest joy was her family, and she was their biggest cheerleader—always present at every celebration, game, graduation, and milestone. After retiring, she cherished time spent with loved ones and found joy in simple pleasures, especially her love for playing BINGO.

Maria will be remembered for her radiant smile, her joyful spirit, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. She truly lived life to the fullest and left a legacy of love, kindness, and encouragement that will live on in all who knew her.

She is deeply loved and will be forever missed.
