Maria Guadalupe
Valdez
September 29, 1972 – November 25, 2024
Maria Guadalupe Valdez, born on September 29, 1972, was called to her eternal rest on November 25, 2024, gaining her wings and becoming our guardian angel. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.
Maria leaves behind her devoted husband of 20 years, Joe Valdez; her eight children, Valerie Davila, Stephanie Davila, Erica Davila, Gustavo Davila III, Steve & Adriana Davila, Jeannette Hayes, and Joe Valdez Jr.; and 15 beloved grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Maria was known for her strength, sense of humor, and hardworking spirit. She dedicated over 25 years of her life to managing food industry locations, where she built lasting relationships with coworkers and customers alike. Family was everything to her, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved. Maria had a special gift for creating lasting memories, often capturing them in photos, and always making time for fun—whether it was a road trip to the casino, a game of bingo, or a lively night of lotería around the family table.
Her favorite saying was, "Let nothing stop you, life must go on." These words embody the strength and resilience she lived by. Even in her absence, Maria's legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her. She taught us to keep moving forward, to shine brightly, and to never give up, no matter the circumstances.
Maria will forever be remembered. We find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, watching over us as our guardian angel.
