Maria Guevara, age 77, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026. She was born on November 1, 1948, to Jose and Reynalda Guevara. Maria lived a life defined by compassion, dedication, and deep love for her family. Maria devoted more than 35 years of her life to the nursing and medical field, where she cared for countless patients with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Her commitment to helping others left a lasting impression on colleagues and those she served throughout her career.
Outside of her work, Maria found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She especially loved spending time outdoors tending to her plants and garden, where she found peace and happiness surrounded by nature. She also treasured the companionship of her beloved dog, Bruno, who brought her comfort and joy.
Above all, Maria cherished her family. She is lovingly remembered and will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Veronica Natividad, Georgann Natividad, and Stephanie Flores; her four grandchildren, Sarah and Dane Van Ness, Carlo Natividad, and Jude Flores; her surviving sisters, Marta Guzman and Sylvia Guzman.
The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Heart to Heart Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided to Maria.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 12pm-1pm, with a Rosary at 1pm at Castillo Funeral Home.
