Maria De Jesus Gonzalez passed away peacefully on January 29, 2022, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 73 years old. She was born in Palau, Coahuila, on February 24, 1948.

Maria married Juan Gonzalez Moreno, who preceded her in death in 1991. He was a Coal Miner for most of his life, and later in life Juan enjoyed working as a farmer as well. Maria treasured the beautiful memories she created with her family throughout her 73 years on this earth.  Maria learned how to crochet and enjoyed it as her main hobby. Most precious to Maria was her faith in God. She will be missed tremendously.

Maria is also preceded in death by her Parents Luis and Herlinda Cruz, and Brother Ismael Cruz.

Maria is loved and will be missed by her sons, Juan Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez (Cristina), Misael Gonzalez (Miroslava) and daughter Enereida Castillo (Guillermo), 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

María De Jesús González falleció en paz el 29 de enero de 2022, rodeada del calor y el amor de su familia. Ella tenía 73 años. Nació en Palau, Coahuila, el 24 de febrero de 1948.

María se casó con Juan González Moreno, quien la precedió en la muerte en 1991. Fue minero de carbón durante la mayor parte de su vida, y más tarde en su vida, Juan también disfrutó trabajando como agricultor. María atesoró los hermosos recuerdos que creó con su familia a lo largo de sus 73 años en esta tierra. María aprendió a tejer y lo disfrutó mucho como su principal pasatiempo. Lo más precioso para María fue su Fé en Dios. Ella será extrañada tremendamente.

María también es precedida en la muerte por sus padres Luis y Herlinda Cruz y el hermano Ismael Cruz.

María es amada y será extrañada por sus hijos Juan González, Jorge González (Cristina), Misael González (Miroslava) y su hija Enereida Castillo (Guillermo), 10 nietos; 6 bisnietos; y numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos, parientes y amigos.

Interment/Entierro: Friday/Viernes, 18 Febrero 2022, Panteón San Fernando III.
