María L. Fernández viuda de Manuel Fernández. Nacio en Zaragoza, Coahuila México, enero 21. Fallecio en Septiembre 28, 2023. Padres fallecidos, Teodoro Lira Lopez y Sara Lira Ibarra. Hermanos en vida Agustina Rodriguez Lira, Guadalupe Lewis Lira, Tere Lopez Lira, Norma Zamarripa Lira, Josefa Moreno Lira y Federico Lira. Hermanos fellecidos Graciela Moreno Lira, Jenoveva Auces Lira, Juanita Jimenez Lira y Camen Jimenez Lira. Una madre dedicada a la oración para todos los que le pedían oración. Siempre hablando de Cristo a todas las personas, que en su juventud emprendió el camino de evangelizar junto a su hermana Carmen Jiménez donde comenzaron predicando en Allende Coahuila que tanto fue el llamado que fundaron una iglesia que asta estos momentos esta en pie con crellentes en Cristo Jesus. Siempre dedica a sus hijos que siempre trabajo arduamente para darles lo mejor, pero la mas apreciado que les dejo fue la palabra de salvacion. Siempre contenta y siempre dando lo mejor de ella ya que se pasaba en sus tiempos libres en el centro de retirados asiendo pinturas y costuras. Es una Perdida enorme para sus hijos Gilberto Martinez, Ruben Fernandez y nietos Melanie Martinez, Gilbert Martinez, Hannah Martinez, Ruben Fernandez y Joselyn Fernandez que siempre la tendran en sus corazones.
María L. Fernández widow of Manuel Fernández. Born in Zaragoza, Coahuila Mexico, January 21, 1951. She passed away on September 28, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Teodoro Lira Lopez and Sara Lira Ibarra. She is survived by her sisters Agustina Rodriguez Lira, Guadalupe Lewis Lira, Tere Lopez Lira, Norma Zamarripa Lira, Josefa Moreno Lira, brothers Rojelio Lira and Federico Lira. Sisters preceded in death Graciela Moreno Lira, Jenoveva Auces Lira, Juanita Jimenez Lira y Camen Jimenez Lira. A mother dedicated to prayer for all who asked for prayer. Always speaking of Christ to all people, in her youth she undertook the journey of evangelizing with her sister Carmen Jiménez where they began preaching the word of God in Allende Coahuila Mexico so much that it was the call that they founded a church that at this moment is standing with believers in Christ Jesus. She was always dedicated to her children and always working hard to give them the best, but the most appreciated gift that she left was the word of salvation. Always happy and always giving her best as she spent her free time in the retreat center doing paintings and embroidery. It is a huge loss for her sons Gilberto Martinez, Ruben Fernandez; her grandchildren Melanie, Gilbert I., Hannah, Ruben and Joselyn, who always will have her in their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 4pm to 8pm with a service to begin at 6pm at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen, San Antonio TX 78228. Interment will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2023, at 10 am, at Meadow Lawn Cemetery, 5611 E. Houston St. San Antonio, TX 78220
