Maria Leticia
"Letty" Rodriguez
October 11, 1968 – May 22, 2021
María Leticia Rodriguez "Letty", our amazingly beautiful mother has been called home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2021. Letty was was born on October 11, 1968 in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Rogaciano and Victoria Landa.
Letty loved her husband Jose Luis and together they celebrated 36 years of marriage on February 2, 2021. Letty was a great wife and mother; family time was a big deal for mom, she loved having her three kids with her for events and occasions. The moment mom knew she was going to be a grandma she couldn't help but tell everyone. Letty loved her babies and grandma could never say no. Letty loved going to Disney World, walking around Epcot and the boardwalk. She loved her morning visits to Target followed by Starbucks. She loved going to the beach and watching the sunrise. She loved decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. Letty loved to cook and bake, her cheesecakes were the best! In fact everything she made was delicious. Letty worked at HEB #8 for 23 years and during that time she got to know many people. Everywhere she went it seemed like she recognized someone from the store or vice versa. Register 5 is where you could find Letty, the sweetest lady with the highlights and pretty nails. Letty liked to decorate her work badge for holidays. Nothing was ever plain with Letty, everything needed bling and sparkle.
Letty is preceded in death by her father, Rogaciano Landa. She is survived and loved by her husband, Jose Luis Rodriguez; children, Jose Luis "Joey" Rodriguez Jr., Kevin Rodriguez, Jacqueline Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Isabella Victoria Rodriguez, Eduardo Luis Morales-Rodriguez and Samuel Luis Rodriguez; and her mother, Victoria Landa; along with numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Although it will take some time to get use to not seeing her lovely smile or feeling her warm hugs, we find comfort in knowing our mom is now resting in Heaven.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 3:30 pm. to 7:30 pm. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. Letty's funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, 9:30 am at St. Ann's Catholic Church followed by internment at Hernandez Cemetery in San Marcos, Tx.
