Maria Magdalena Fernandez, born on November 1, 1927, was called home to be with our Lord on August 25, 2024, at the age of 96.  She is reunited in Heaven with her husband, Manuel A. Fernandez; sons, Ignacio Fernandez and Manuel Fernandez Jr.; parents, Ricardo Najera and Romula Najera.  Maria is loved and will be greatly missed by her daughters, Josefina N. Fernandez, Sylvia F. Olivarez and Diana N. Fernandez; grandchildren, Jennifer Marie O. Rendon and Marcos F. Gomez; great-grandson, William P. Rendon; brother, Raul Najera as well as other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. at Castillo Funeral Home.   Family and friends will meet at St. Jude Catholic Church after the Rosary for an 11:30 a.m. Mass.  Services will conclude following the Mass
