Maria G. Martinez passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the age of 91. She is reunited in heaven with her mother Manuela Guevara, siblings Pancho, Miguel and Virginia and her sons Alfredo and Osvaldo. Maria is deeply loved and will be forever missed by her daughters Rosario and Leticia, niece Abby, grandchildren Valerie and Oscar, and lifelong family friends Sue Ann, Janie and Diana plus numerous family and friends. A formal funeral home departure, lead by police escorts, will take place on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 8:45am for a 9:30am Rosary and then 10am Funeral mass at San Fernando Cathedral located in Downtown San Antonio. Interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery III.
