Maria C. Miranda, age 73, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was born on September 18, 1950, in Bishop, Texas. Maria was a loving mother and grandmother. Her life revolved around her family and her faith. When she wasn't spending time with her family, Maria loved to watch her favorite TV show, "The Walking Dead". She also enjoyed going to the movies and eating at her favorite restaurant, Ramona's. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Miranda, Sr. and her grandson Baby Frank Miranda III. Maria will be missed tremendously by her loving son Frank Miranda, Jr. and his wife Donna; two granddaughters Ayana and Jaylynn Miranda; two sisters, one brother, and numerous extended family and friends. A Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will depart in procession at 11:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
