Maria G. Palacios born August 2, 1930 in Martinez TX, to Jose and Petra Guevara was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the blessed age of 89. She will be reunited in heaven with her husband Edward C. Palacios and parents. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her children Fernando Garza, Sandra Villarreal (Roger), Raul Palacios (Diana), Louis Palacios (Vangie), Leticia Diaz (Carlos); her caregiver and more like a son to her Joe Pena (Minnie);13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings Benito Guevara, Juanita De Hoyos, Cristina Ramirez, Alejandra Rodriguez, Maria De Jesus Gonzales, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was a mother and lady who loved and care for everyone.  She had a passion for cooking and baking.  She welcomed everyone with open arms and always willing to help in time of need. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
