Maria R. Luna, 91, passed away on September 18, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raul and Otilia Rodriguez; her husband, Gabriel S. Luna; her daughter, Danielle Briseno; her grandson, Christian Lee Sosa; her brother, Richard Rodriguez; and her sisters Odelia Rielly and Bernice Dominguez.

Maria is survived by her children: Aline Luna, Rachael Holt and husband Larry Holt, and Jacqueline L. Sosa and husband Francisco Sosa III. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Nicole Powers (Aunt Susie) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephew and friends.

A devoted member of the Guadalupana Society and a faithful parishioner of St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, Maria dedicated many years to her church community. She organized the Spanish choir, sharing her love of music and worship with all who knew her. Maria was gifted in sewing, loved singing Spanish music and found joy in dancing, cooking, baking, and spending time wither her family.

Her legacy of faith, creativity, and love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
