Maria Louisa Rodriguez (71) was born October 31, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas and went to be with our Lord on August 15, 2021.

Maria is preceded in death by her sons Leroy & Paul Rodriguez, mother Delia Barrera Georges, sister Minerva Garcia and brother Gilbert Ramirez.

Maria leaves behind to cherish in her memory; son Eloy V Rodriguez Jr., daughter Laura Rodriquez-Gonzalez and spouse Chris, Wife of Leroy, Gayelynn. Grand children, Chris, Nicole, Wally, Ruben, Eloy III, Roni, Tiffany, Leroy Jr., sisters Juanita and spouse Laurie, Gina and spouse Adrian, and Elizabeth and many nieces and nephews.

Maria aka "Pinky" was well known for her dedication to her patients working at University Hospital for almost 20 years and continued to care for others in private duty for another 10 years, she took pleasure in the simplest things in life, she loved to make jewelry, enjoy a back yard BBQ, have an adult beverage and dance.

Maria was deeply loved and will be immensely missed. Her family will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
