Maria M. Sanchez, lovingly known as Mary or Mable went home to our lord and savior on March 12, 2025. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Mable was born on February 25, 1952, in Mission, Texas and made her home in San Antonio; She was 73 years old.

Mable was a great and loving mom to her daughter Monica, Nana to Sarah and Ian, and great grandma to Isaac. Mable worked for Levis Strauss & Company for 25 years and retired from the Bexar County Tax Office in 2014. Mable's home was her paradise; It was a labor of love that she truly enjoyed taking care of, along with her beloved family, friends, neighbors and cats.

Mable is preceded in death by her mom, Berta Vargas, sister, Leticia Montemayor, and father, Guadalupe Vargas.

Mable was loved and will be missed by her daughter Monica Antonikowski (Rick), her lifelong partner, John Moran, Sister, Janie Sanchez, Brother Juan Vasquez (Ramona), grandkids, Sarah and Ian Campos, great grandson, Isaac Lacey -Kersey, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
