Maria Gloria Santellan Rivera, born on March 16, 1946, died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at the age of 74, surrounded by the warmth and love of family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Andres and Dionicia Santellan, and her husband, Francisco Rivera.

She is survived by her son David Rivera (Katie); granddaughter Audrey Marie Rivera; sisters Lupe Santellan, Olga Pimentel (Octavio), Oralia Gallegos (Wayne); brothers, Andres Santellan Jr (Frances), John Santellan, Luis Santellan (Mary Jane), Jesse Santellan (Guadalupe), Cruz Santellan (Lauri), Crispin Santellan (Lydia), goddaughter and niece, Melissa Craig (Marian) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18 ^th at Castillo-Mission Funeral Home (with a limit of 40 people at all times) from 3:30pm till 7:30pm with a Rosary recited at 6:00pm. (As a precaution due to Covid, masks must be worn and social distancing maintained.) Procession will depart on Friday, February 19 ^th at 9:30am for a 10:00am mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (with a limit of 100 people). Interment (family only please) to follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Converse.
