María S. Torres, was born January 29, 1938 in Matamoros, Mexico. She went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2023 at the age of 85.

She is reunited with the Love of her life her husband of 63 years Alejandro R. Torres,  her parents Jesus and Aurora Sosa, brother Alberto Sosa, sister Alma Graciela Sosa.

She will be dearly missed by her Daughter & Son in law Esmeralda & Antonio Vega, Grandsons Mark (Livia), Alejandro (Alexandra), Christopher (Raelynn), 5 Great grandchildren Alejandro, Annalissia, Antonio, Christopher, Rosanna, niece Mary Alice (Fred), as well as extended family members.

She was a loving wife, mother, mother in law, Grandmother, Great Grandmother. The love she had for her Family was like no other.

She loved Family gathering, BBQ's, music, sitting on her swing while she drank a hot cup of coffee. She always made sure her family never went without. Always reminding Us to Thank God for Our Blessings and to never take life or things for granted.

She will be dearly missed by her Family but will live forever in our hearts.
