María Borrego Treviño, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away in her sleep at home on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the blessed age of 80. María was born María Borrego on April 18, 1941 in El Remolino, Coahuila, Mexico. Maria was a resilient woman who always worked hard to support her family by working as a housekeeper and retired from Lackland A.F.B. Maria loved to travel and attend First Baptist Church in Somerset, Texas.

Maria is survived by her husband Antonio Espinoza; daughters Sylvia De Tobias, Melissa Vianay Treviño and son-in-law Victor J. Castaño; son Roger Treviño and daughter-in-law Martha Suarez. In addition to her children, María is mourned by her grandchildren Gus Nathaniel Chavez, Michael Anthony Chavez, Mariah Garcia, Oscar Rodriguez, Isabella Lyn Suarez, Logan Luvic Treviño and Sebastian Roco Treviño. Maria will be missed and remembered with loving thoughts.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 3:30p.m. until 8:00 p.m with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will depart at 9am from Castillo Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2022 for a graveside service at First Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.
