Obituary

Maria Rosario Valdez was a caring mother, a loving grandmother,  a sister with a big heart and a stubborn attitude that will forever be missed.  She has called to join her Father and mother on the 17th of December 2021.
Chayo  began her journey on October 29th, 1961.  She was raised in Laredo and settled down in San Antonio where she spent all her time devoted to her work as a jeweler and a mother to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her two children Rene Valdez Jr and Vanessa Valdez and 6 Grandchildren.
Services for Maria will be held at
Castillo Mission Funeral Home
520 N General McMullen
Thursday December 23rd  4pm - 8pm with a Rosary staring at 6pm.
We ask that you join us to celebrate and share your experiences of her with us. Thank you
María Rosario Valdez fue una madre cariñosa, una abuela cariñosa, una hermana con un gran corazón y una actitud obstinada que para siempre será extrañada. Ha llamado para reunirse con su padre y su madre el 17 de diciembre de 2021.
Chayo inició su andadura el 29 de octubre de 1961. Se crió en Laredo y se estableció en San Antonio donde pasó todo su tiempo dedicada a su trabajo como joyera y madre de sus hijos y nietos. Le sobreviven sus dos hijos Rene Valdez Jr y Vanessa Valdez y 6 nietos.
Los servicios para María se llevarán a cabo en Castillo Mission Funeral Home 520 N General McMullen
Jueves 23 de diciembre de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. con un rosario a las 6:00 p.m.
