Maria Virginia Hernandez "Vicky", age 51, was born December 18, 1970 in San Antonio, TX. Beloved daughter, mother and grandmother "granny" went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2022. She is survived by her mother Elisa Martinez, her children Jaime III (Krizia), Karina (Jose), Livan (Isabella), her granddaughters Sophia Lynn and Zoë Victoria.
Vicky went to Twain Middle School and Thomas A. Edison High School during her youthful years. She loved spending every moment with her family, especially with her Sophia Lynn. From going on spontaneous adventures to coming home to our arms with never ending cariños and kisses, she lived for her babies. She loved to BBQ and cook amazing dishes for everyone, including her beloved family and friends. She was the light of everyone's world she entered, with an infectious smile and contagious laugh. There was never a dull moment with her presence, her radiant glow always projected pure, loving energy. She was a phenomenal mother who raised her children to be selfless, strong, sympathetic… leaders of their own destiny. Her daily living included: making splendid meals for those she cared most for, taking extreme measures to suffice her entire family's needs, sharing jokes and silly TikToks with those she wanted to fill with joy, and most importantly.. expressing immense amounts of everlasting love and support without any reservations. She was a prime example of what a daughter, mother, and grandmother should be.. never giving up nor losing sight of those loved ones she always believed in. She is truly irreplaceable, the light of the lives she touched and influenced throughout her lifetime. Her beauty and peace of comfort will never be forgotten.

SERVICES for MARIA VIRGINIA HERNANDEZ

VISITATION will be held at Castillo Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on MONDAY, MARCH 14, 2022, with a ROSARY to be recited at 6 p.m.

FUNERAL PROCESSION will depart the Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on TUESDAY, MARCH 15, 2022, for a 10 a.m. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
