Maricela "Mari" Gutierrez

Maricela, known by all who loved her as "Mari", departed her loving family on October 15 ^th , 2022

Mari was born in San Antonio, TX on July 16, 1971, to Luciano and Adela Mascorro.

Mari was mother to Abi Powers, Roger "Rogie" Gutierrez and Sebastian Gutierrez. She raised her children with love and devotion in San Antonio with her husband Roger Gutierrez.

As an in-home care provider, Mari was known for her absolute devotion to the people whose care she was charged with. Her hobbies were decorating, maintaining her plants, renovating her home and spending time with her loved ones. She was most proud of her six grandchildren and relished her time spent with them.

She is survived by her children: Abi Powers, Roger "Rogie" Gutierrez and Sebastian Gutierrez as well as by her six grandchildren: Brooklynn Powers, Roman Powers, Madelynn Powers, Roger "Baby Rogie" Gutierrez, Orlando Gutierrez and Rayden Gutierrez.

Aside from the grandchildren she doted on, Mari is survived by her mother Adela Mascorro, sisters Lenor, Hermina and Julie and by brothers David and Steve.
