Mario Antonio
Carnero
March 10, 1983 – September 21, 2024
Forever remembered by My Love, dad, brother, son, coach, friend, Mario Antonio Carnero passed away on September 21, 2024. Mario was 41 years old; He was born in Midland Texas on March 10, 1983.
Mario was a character in more ways than one and had a sense of humor that would brighten your day. He was a protector and like a teddy bear at the same time because of his heart, smile, humor. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 18 years, to Tiffany Carnero. Father to Alandra, (Jawaun), Nyema, Noah, Josiah, Jeremiah. Son to Father Jesus (Priscilla) Carnero, brother, Jose (Diana) Carnero, Sisters Sierra Ramos (Freddy), and Marisol Ortiz.
Mario was part of the softball community his one passion in life was that diamond-shaped dirt infield with a home plate and three bases. Mario is now at home plate. Coach Mario, as many call him loved his teams from Midland Purple Crush, SA Fury, Illusions, Lady Attack, Vipers, attended World Series in Laredo in 2018. One thing about Coach Mario is he loved his girls and pushed them to their full ability so they may succeed in life and also loved giving them his 2-hour speeches! As his favorite saying was, "It's not a mistake till it crosses home plate."
Mario loved him some sports and loved to watch it. Mario was a dedicated Texas Longhorns Fan "Hook Em Horns!". Mario was also a huge Cowboys Fan…. If you know, you know! Mario was a huge Patriots fan as well as a lot of Carnero's. If they were not playing well, you already knew just leave them alone. Come on now, how can we not throw a joke in here and there. Mario's other passion was fishing at the coast. Oh man he would stay there forever and just sleep in the chair all day. The picture on the obituary was Mario catching his first shark. He was so happy and shocked, but after that, it became his passion after he stopped coaching. He was a jokester, and he loved to embarrass his kids. Mario loved his family, and yes, he was strict, but he knew his kids, nieces, and nephews' potential. Mario loved his friends and his work family, as they became family as well.
Mario is also preceded in death by his mother Hilda Garibay, Stepfather Edward Garibay, Neice Andrea Ramos, Tio Al Carnero, Grandpa Martin Cantu.
Mario is loved and will always be loved by his Wife, Kids, his family, his friends/coworkers, his softball family and his softball girls. Please watch over us our Guardian Angel Mario (Coach) Antonio Carnero.
