In Loving Memory of Mario Alberto Saenz Gonzalez

Mario Alberto Saenz Gonzalez went with our Lord on August 27, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was 70 years old. He was born in San Antonio, TX, on September 10, 1955.

Mario served in the United States Army, Army Reserves, and National Guard for a total of 8 years. His rank was 1st Cavalry. Mario was a 63 Bravo mechanic, generator mechanic, and tank mechanic.

He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He loved family trips, BBQs, the outdoors, fishing, watching western movie's, cold cases, and homicides unfold. Boy, was he a jokester! He had so much humor, dedication, and devotion for his family and all who knew him.

There are so many fond memories and joyous moments with his wife, children, 16 grandchildren, siblings, numerous nephews and nieces, extended family, and friends. Most of all, he was a loving son, caring husband, wonderful loving father, devoted grandfather, good neighbor, and a great friend.

He will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved and knew him.

The family invites you to join them for a Reception, that will be held in Mario's honor, at Texas Star Inn located at 7621 Bandera Rd. 78238 at 2 p.m. following the burial services.
