Our Dad, Mario Gonzalez, was born November 9, 1950. He was the son to beloved parents, Beatriz & Raul Gonzalez, of Cotulla, Texas.

If we could write a story, it would be the greatest story ever told. It would be about a silly father who thought Kickapoo had his pot of gold. He was always there with a story or two, a few corny jokes would even do.  We all have a memory that each of us can share; for me, it's how much our family will miss him every day.

Dad will be remembered by many. He is survived by his daughters, Maravel Davila, Glenda Gonzalez and Alexis Hernandez; his wife, Elsa Hernandez-Gonzalez; and many grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm.  We invite all to join us for a Rosary at 6 p.m., which will be recited in the Funeral Home Chapel.

A farewell Mass will follow in March at Mission Conception Church. Date and time is pending.
