Marion E. Dominguez's Obituary
Marion E. Dominguez, age 90 passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday December 23, 2021.
Marion was born on December 13, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas to Rudolph L. Brendler and Helen Loleat Schooley. She graduated from Fox Tech High School and went on to attend
business school. Marion worked as a PBX telephone operator all of her working career at such grand hotels as the St. Anthony and Menger Hotels. Throughout her life she especially had an extreme love and appreciation for her many cats. They were not just her pets, they were her babies and always made sure they were well cared for.
Marion is survived by her only son, Michael F. Peters and wife Mona. Stepdaughter Minnie Medellin and husband Mike. Grandchildren- Micheal Shane Peters, Rudolph Scott Peters, Carol Shenelle Peters and seven great grandchildren.
She spent the last few years of her life being cared for by Minnie Medellin and the last five months of her life living with the Medellin Family. During these last few months, she became a part of our crazy loving family, and we all became very close. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, January 3, 2022, from 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando III Catholic Cemetery. (Time for mass is pending and will be updated as soon as confirmed.)
