Marjorie G. Mungia passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on January 25, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 25, 1942.

Marjorie volunteered at Institute of Texan Cultures for over 20 years. She sold her artwork at the Starving Artist show for many years. She enjoyed making and selling dresses for porcelain dolls. She was a 49er fan because her grandchildren were! IHOP had nothing on her breakfast, she made the BEST breakfast. Heaven is a much more beautiful place with her there, her smile will brighten the sky, the way she brightened our lives.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Alvina Guerrero.

Marjorie will always be loved and will be missed by her husband Julian Mungia of 62 years; daughter, Claudia Mungia; grandchildren Dora Tritch and Mario Ortiz (Alicia); great-grandchildren Austyn Tritch, Ariel Ortiz, Jazmine Ortiz and Sofia Ortiz.
