Martha Jean
Rangel
May 29, 1966 – September 8, 2024
Martha Rangel passed away on September 8,2024, she was surrounded by her loving children & family the day of her passing. Martha was born in Uvalde, Texas on May 29,1966. She was only 58 years old when she passed away. Martha passed away unexpectedly, although we wished we had more time with her, all we can do is hold on to the great memories & all the love that she gave.
Martha was a very hard worker, she loved working at STRIC, she worked there for more than 25 years. STRIC became more than a place of employment, with the amount of love & friendships she developed a second family. Even after leaving STRIC she kept in contact with them.
Martha loved her grandchildren very much, she loved to see them smiling & hear them laughing. She played Barbies just last month with her granddaughters. She read books to them & most of all she loved to cook for them. She played basketball & football with her grandsons, she also enjoyed watching them play sports. She somehow would always convince her granddaughter Kami to take her to the sale going on at Bath & Bodywork's. Kami did not mind taking her, even if it was the same sale "every month". She enjoyed seeing her grandma happy. Martha enjoyed being a grandma, if she was tired or did not feel well, she would still show up for her grandchildren.
Martha loved to play Monopoly (she was very competitive, she didn't care if you were family, she would rob you and take down your landmarks), she loved arts & crafts, the beach, planting flowers & she loved to travel. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Martha sat in front of the TV cheering on the Dallas Cowboys yelling "Sack Him ". Martha loved to see her children April and AJ in karate, and she kept every trophy, every medal, & other accomplishments they achieved.
My mom loved her children & most of all her grandchildren. She had the biggest heart & she loved to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her because she did touch so many hearts. Martha is also preceded in death by her mother Francis Alaniz & her father Eduardo Cruz. Martha was loved by all her family, she leaves behind her son Juan Carlos Rangel 43; daughter Maria Francisca Rangel Robinson 41; daughter April Marie Gonzalez 32; her youngest son Adrian Jorge Gonzalez 28; 9 grandchildren; brothers; sisters; cousins; several nieces, nephews, extended family; friends & her 4 dog's whom she loved so much .
