Martin V. Andrade

January 30, 1932 – June 8, 2026

Martin Andrade has entered eternal life with God on Monday, June 8th surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 94 years old. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on January 30, 1932.

Martin came from a large family. He was the second oldest of 8 children. He was a migrant worker who traveled to Lancing, Michigan to work the fields with all his siblings. He worked at General Motors on the assembly line. Then as a security guard in Los Angeles, California. Then came to Texas and worked as a meat cutter for Roegelein and Swift Packing Co. He also worked for Preston Dairy delivering milk and juice to schools. Martin and Nicodemia have been together since 1971. They married by church on May 4, 1993. They just completed 33 years of marriage by church. My Dad had 9 children: Mary, Rosie, Martin, Yolanda, Joe, Julie, Sarah, Henry and Jeanette. He had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Jose Andrade, his mother Genoveva Andrade. His siblings: Monico Andrade, Fernando Andrade, Edward Andrade, Jose Andrade, Delia Bernal, Angelina Ybarra. His children: Jose Angel Andrade, Henry Andrade, Martin Andrade Jr., Yolanda Andrade, Julie Andrade

Martin is loved and will be missed by his wife, Nicodemia Andrade; Daugther, Jeanette Andrade Cruz (Donald Cruz), Daughter, Mary Navarro; Daughter Rosie Andrade; Daughter, Sarah Andrade and numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous great great-children. Along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
