Martin Maldonado, Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on May 15, 1945, in Charlotte, Texas. Martin worked as a tow truck driver and loved everything about cars. He was a skilled mechanic and car salesman. Martin was very down to earth and old school. He was a man of his word, and his handshake was enough to seal a deal. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him. Martin is reunited in heaven with his parents Martin and Reymunda Maldonado. He is loved and will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Diana Mermella, sons Martin Maldonado III (Esther) and Hank Maldonado, sisters Maggie (Benny Eureste and Mary Harper, brothers Enrique, Jose and Jesse (Julia) Maldonado, five grandchildren plus numerous family and friends. Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 1 pm to 5 pm with a Prayer Service to be recited at 3 pm. A reception will be held after the services at Friendship Center Church located at 217 Pleasanton Rd San Antonio, Texas 78214.
