Martin Ramirez was called Home to Heaven on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the blessed age of 83. Martin was born in Michigan to Rosa Maria Ramirez on May 28, 1941. He was a hard working, loving father and husband. He was especially proud to be a grandpa! Martin enjoyed spending time with his family as much as possible. He also enjoyed going to the river and cooking out, or cracking open a cold Busch to relax after a long day. He enjoyed lots of activities outdoors like fishing and camping. He loved to go out for date nights with his wife where they would enjoy dinner like enchiladas at Rocky's or going out dancing. Martin is reunited in Heaven with his mother Rosa Maria Ramirez, brothers Peter Esquivel and Donicio Esquivel; sister Lydia Reyes; sister-in-law Mary Esquivel; and brother-in-law Samuel Ricarte. Martin will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Graciela De la Rosa; sons Martin Ramirez, Jr. (Blanca), Daniel Ramirez (Janie), Stephen Ramirez (Sylvia), Michael Ramirez (Sandra), Armando De La Rosa (Vickie), Martin De La Rosa, and Gilbert De La Rosa (Veronica); daughters Alexandra Tabora (Jose) and Rebecca Ann Ramirez; 24 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation to take place on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will depart in procession at 9:30 am on Thursday, November 14, 2024 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church with burial to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery in Von Ormy, Texas.
