Mary A. Barrera, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 21, 2022. She was a long-time member of Saved By Grace Church.  Mary was a born-again Christian and professed her faith and love of Jesus Christ with everyone she met.

For many years, Mary worked as a caregiver and was very compassionate and dedicated to those she cared for.  She will be remembered for her laughter, her joyful personality, always kind and willingness to help others.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents: Victoria and Antonio Alfaro; her husband, Arthur Barrera. She is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie Wilburn; sons, Michael Martinez (wife, Norma), Gilbert Martinez and Lionel Martinez and 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and her little dog, Minnie.

Mary had a great love for her family of 13 siblings which included 7 sisters and 6 brothers. Surviving siblings: sisters, Josephine Reyes (Mack), Delores Medina (Jesus), brothers: Albert Alfaro (Anita), David Murrillo (Mary).

Visitation will be at Castillo Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4 ^th from 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, May 4 ^th at San Fernando Cemetery #3.
