Mary F. Bernal, loving Mother, Grandmother, and sister was called home by God on March 3, 2021 at the age of 77. Mary was born on November 11, 1943 in Victoria, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Jacob A. Bernal; parents Felix R. Sanchez and Maria Teresa Sanchez; and brothers Ernesto and Nieves Sanchez. After retiring as an accountant from Kelly A.F.B., Mary loved to spend her free time with her family. She also enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, and words with friends.

Mary's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her daughter Mary Lopez, son Jacob Bernal, and daughter Amy Bernal; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and sister Louisa Sanchez Valdez.

Visitation will take place at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Family and friends will gather at 1:00pm to celebrate Mary's life, followed by procession to San Fernando Cemetery III for a Graveside service.
