Mary L. Chavez entered eternal rest on January 3, 2020, at the blessed age of 86. She was born on November 11, 1933 in Floresville, Texas to Ramon and Eulalia Salazar. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents; brother Manuel Longoria; and sister Aurora Salazar. Mary will be forever loved and dearly missed by her husband of 55 years Charlie G. Chavez; sons Charles Chavez (Virginia) and Eddie Chavez (Cassandra); grandchildren Lauren, Ashley, Ricardo, and Vincente; and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 12pm until 6pm. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 5pm, officiated by Pastor Efrain Diaz of Theo Ave. Baptist Church. All Services will conclude on Saturday evening.
